The BHN Steering Committee is excited to announce a $5,000 pledge to help save the Dragon at Fannie Mae Dees Park – and we challenge you to match half of it! The committee has donated $2,500 outright, and will match donations for another $2,500 between now and Sept. 30, turning our $5,000 donation into $7,500 total! We are challenging you, BHN neighbors and businesses, to donate to this cause to restore the Dragon. With $2,500 of this pledge dependent upon our matching this amount in community donations, there’s no better time than now to donate.
Here’s how to donate:
Please hurry! BHN is sponsoring this challenge match between now and Sept. 30 only. Giving today will let you double your impact.
Thanks to our Hillsboro–West End neighbors for spearheading the Dragon’s fundraising and restoration efforts, and to Metro Parks for its substantial investment of project management, engineering and site work, as well as a portion of labor and materials. HWEN’s goal is $200,000, so let’s help them get there! By working together, we can do our part in helping to restore this unique Nashville icon right in Hillsboro Village.
HWEN is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. All donations are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.
